Plush Sofas invites dogs onto the couch in new comfort campaign

Plush Sofas has launched a new campaign starring man’s best friend and his love for sitting on the couch.

The 60-second ad, ‘We All Deserve A Little Comfort’ created by Akkomplice, features a French bulldog who just can’t get comfortable – until his owner invites him to sit on the family sofa.

Cute companion animals have featured in Plush Sofa’s campaign strategy since 2015. Wes Kerr, marketing manager at Plush Sofas said the campaign “has resulted in double-digit sales uplift”.

“In a very competitive market this campaign has been hugely successful for Plush and has driven significant uplifts in showroom traffic and sales, as well as fueling improvements in brand perceptions that have outstripped the entire category,” said Kerr.

“It’s great to see such positive results from our advertising, but rather than resting on our laurels we’re expecting this latest installment to drive results for the brand even further.”

Starting today, the ad will be rolled out on national TV, cinema and online as well as outdoor, radio, and social activation.
