Consumer law firm Slater & Gordon has appointed independent agency Akkomplice to its creative account, Mumbrella can reveal.
The agency was appointed following a competitive pitch in 2022, and has now launched a new positioning, ‘We’ll take it from here’, alongside its first work, a Public Liability campaign.
Tim Murdoch, head of marketing for the law firm, said: “We were hugely impressed with the response from Akkomplice and the effort they took to understand our brief and really get under the skin of our brand and our business.”
The Public Liability campaign launched this week across TV, digital and social, with both 15 and 30-second spots, showing some of the places where ‘hurt can happen’, and how the firm can help customers get compensation.
Chief creative officer at Akkomplice, Glenn Dalton said: “Working with the team at Slater & Gordon, it was evident that they don’t just take on the case, they also take the care. ‘We’ll take it from here’ talks confidently to Slater & Gordon’s legal expertise and proven track record, whilst also being comforting to anyone suffering serious physical and financial pain and unsure what’s next. We look forward to building on the platform… from here.”
Dalton joined the agency in 2022 from Hardhat, becoming its first-ever CCO. Following his appointment, the agency also won the creative remit for Sorbent at the end of the year.
